On top of that, I wanted to give back to those that have supported me throughout the last year and beyond” Drapht says. After one hell of a year at that, 2011 included an ARIA number 1 album with ‘The Life of Riley’, ARIA & AIR awards for Best Urban Release, a 2x platinum single, a gold single, a certified gold album and three songs off the same effort polling throughout triple j’s hottest 100. So, you could say Drapht is fairly appreciative and happy with how generous the year was, from beginning to end, for the man of the moment. But now it’s time to take it back, and give back to those that made it all possible. With all that in mind, Drapht & triple j brings to you THE UNI-VERSE TOUR! At a valued ticket price with generous student discount the man is set to hit the road again AUS-wide from the end of Feb throughout March, with a massive touring party of like-minded friends to accompany him. Not only consisting of Drapht’s killer four piece band, but also harbouring the strength and support of close Perth friend, N’fa Jones, who you may have also heard feature on Drapht’s ‘Bali Party’ and again on Drapht’s current ‘1990’s’ that can be presently heard on the triple j airwaves nationally. To add to the list of names, the second support slot will be filled by the exciting Queensland up and comers, Seven and Mr. Hill….. We all look forward to seeing you at a show soon!

Sorry we missed a few weeks whilst we were on tour in Europe but we’re back this week with some hot gems to make up for it - we hope you agree!

This is our brand new song and the first on Central Station Records - the Australian label we are now exclusively signed to.

“Life” is a reflective tune, featuring vocals and lyrics from our good friend, N’fa Jones - originally of the ARIA Awards Winning, 1200 Techniques.

This track is a departure from the usual club bangers we produce but we’ve been meaning to make something like this for quite a while. We hope you enjoy it!

The track is available NOW @ Beatport (on Central Station in Australia and Kontor Records in Europe) with a rework by Punk Ninja. A remix EP is due out later this year with remixes by Rocket Pimp, Will Styles, Spenda C, Uberhammer and more.
